Useful Information on Business Cards

That's awesome, a business card with a leaf coming out of it!
For me, I find business cards useful if it can be portable to the point where someone wouldn't mind carrying it in their wallet (the leaf idea is cool if you want your card to be a cup coaster.. which actually isn't a bad idea). The thickest cards I've seen are 16pt business cards... and other than that, I've seen cards that have round corners, metallic foils printed on them and a few minor other additions.
Overall, I'm all for simplicity and, like what the previous post indicated, use of only a few colors in the design to prevent the artwork being too complicated and distracting.
Wherever you guys go to get your stuff printed, I highly recommend AGAINST 48HourPrints. There are better online shops out there that have thicker, better quality, card stock. One place I've been using is 4FocusFX ... they already have great prices but sometimes, if you call them directly, they’ll give you even better deals over the phone… (800) 585-9315.
